Julie Chen Moonves will host the reality series that is a huge hit in summer, Big Brother. The show is set to return to CBS on August 5 for the 2nd season. Chen Moonves has been a part of The Talk since 2010, when she was both moderator as well as host. She was a writer prior to becoming a host. Her love of writing was for the written word. Actually, the show won her an Emmy. Also, she won the Emmy award for outstanding host of a talk program. Her experience in the news industry helped her make the transition to The Talk, which examines current events and problems through the lens of five female hosts.Chen Moonves served as co-host on CBS News' weekday morning broadcast The Early Show from 2002 to 2010.
